In "The WØRD" segment of Monday night's episode of The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert talked about Wikipedia. To the uninitiated (which I surprisingly found are too many, even among web savvy) wikipedia is an online encyclopedia that anyone can read or edit. He praised Wikipedia for "wikiality," the reality that exists if you make something up and enough people agree with you - it becomes reality. His call for everyone to go and change elephant related pages to prove "wikiality", caused chaos on the site, and lead an administrator to block his account. This is hilarious! Stephen Colbert has in one single act, shown both the strength and weakness of Wikipedia or for that matter all wikis. And in the process given us a new word :)
